14-year-old selling chocolate bars victim of sexual assault

Agent 3 sends us a short story from Hamilton, Ontario.

A Niagara Falls man is facing sex charges following an investigation by Hamilton Police involving a 14-year-old.

Police said the investigation looked into complaints said to have occurred between May 2012 and February 2013 when the teen was selling chocolate bars door-to-door and in parking lots in the Hamilton area.

Charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and uttering threats is Maged Younes, 33, of Niagara Falls.

The article in the QMI papers doesn't say who the teen victim was working for, but Len would be prepared to be a chocolate bar that it was Help Kids Canada. See "Chocolate for charity scam still operating?" The answer appears to be "yes".

Also not clear from the story is how the girl could have been assaulted by the same person over the course of ten months. Is it possible the perp was the kid's "manager"?

Another innocent question: What is the accused's immigration status in Canada?

Anyone with further information is asked to call Hamilton police at 905-546-3854.

  1. this guy was part of the help kids canada chocolate scam. i like to call him a chocolate pimp. he picked these kids up in his van. drove them around, dumped them off. made them work in bad weather, threated them if they didnt make enough and he didnt give a dime to charity. im not sure about the charges. as much as i dont like him i would hope he would never do this. he has a daughter of his own. those girls that sold the chocolate for them use to sleep at their homes which worried me when i found that out.

  3. I'd like to hear from the girl, or the manager, or both, about what REALLY happened??? And what about these kids that knock on doors of houses? Don't they ever get invited to come inside? Who protects them then?

  4. I work with the man ACCUSED and his wife. I know them as good people. I have heard their story and talked to him. keep in mind he is only ACCUSED and not convicted. lets look at the background of the girl. she is troubled. she has changed her story 3 times first from rape then to statutory rape then she said they were both consenting. this came after they decided not to keep her on for selling the bars. this little girl has said others have done similar acts to her as well. I think it is best to let the judicial system do its work, and get it over with. I think this little girl needs to come clean and tell the truth. she is one of those teens who learned to manipulate the system because she didn't get what she want. now because of that little girl manipulation, a family is in turmoil. this family is under constant scrutiny. it is not fair to this family that the system we have in the area tends to cater to the delusion of a teen who is very troubled mentally. and still continues to harass this family.

  6. I know you may know his family well but when I brought it up to my daughter whom also worked for him she wasn't shocked. She said he always acted kinda creepy and often made sexual reference and jokes towards the kids.
I know other things also. Personal things. Sometimes pepole aren't really whom you think they are. I do hope his wife sees though him one day and realizes she deserves better.
